Solitary’s second residential showroom in Manhattan.

Both wood and stone are the main materials used in this design, and they are among the oldest construction and decoration materials throughout human history. Even in modern times, despite the synthesis of various functional materials, the unique charm of wood remains irreplaceable. In the design of our second showroom, we chose wood for both functionality and to aesthetically showcase environmental friendliness, equality, and aesthetics.

人类对木材的痴迷与依赖仿佛刻在DNA中。木材作为人类历史上使用最久的建造和装饰材料之一，与石材齐名（尽管石材因开采难度和高成本而相对不太普及）。即便在现代，尽管人类已经合成了具备各种功能的多种材料，但木材的独特魅力仍然无法完全替代。在本次2号样板间设计中，孤石设计选择了木材，既为了功能性，也是为了在审美上展现环保、平等和美学。
