How can the re-adaptation of Chinese traditional element in interior design break stereotypical aesthetics? We integrate light and Ping Feng (Chinese mobile screens that one can use to partition rooms, or which inhabitants of interiors can move or fold up situationally), and propose two designs of luminous Ping Feng (partitions): the Fold and Scroll. The designs improve the interior space in an affordable, flexible, and creative way; they can be used to change the spatial configuration and lighting effect. The designs can be used to create different indoor atmosphere by changing their lighting and materials. Luminous Ping Feng (partitions) by Solitary Rock Design - we keep creating.

我们能否用一种新的设计元素来表达中国传统元素在室内设计中的应用？能否消除偏见，提升审美？于此同时，设计能否满足低成本的诉求，改变空间的使用习惯，并创造更高效的空间分割，被更广泛地运用到商业或某种特定场合中？我们将灯光与传统屏风的概念相互结合，以Fold跟Scroll两种屏风的形式表达灯光的划分或空间的扭曲，不同材料之间的结合与光作用后可间接转化光效并实现空间划分。随着灯光的颜色，质感，光照方式的改变，整个室内氛围都会被影响。孤石流光屏，我们一直在创造。
